Introduction and News

Hello, everyone. In lieu of a report fic this month I'd like to forward you to the newly released Homecoming fic found here.

We're fully in the summer slump as people get distracted by beautiful weather and wild pokemon. Nevertheless, we saw strong activity from several members in June, and and several comp entries already this month.

The big news for the Clan is, of course, in the Consul's latest report, but I'll be covering the new event below.

Oh, and apparently there was some morsel of news about some blue guy you may have heard of.

Competitions

There's plenty to do right now, with a major Clan event and a collection of Club-, Clan-, and House-level competitions.

Homecoming Clan Event

• Scouting the System for a worldbuilding wiki entry, through July 31.
• Dirty Deeds, a fiction done dirt cheap through July 20.
• Keeping Sharp, a gaming cluster race through July 20.
• Dead Drop, a puzzle through July 20.
• New Arenas, an ACC venue creation comp trhough July 20.
• Additionally, be on the lookout for the second phase comps beginning July 21.

Satele Shan

• Legends of Daleem: Out in the Dark a Clan fiction comp running through July 31. The winning entry will be published in my August report if the author so chooses.

Clan Odan-Urr

• Double CF Day against CSP, July 30.
• Two fiction competitions courtesy of our Rollmaster, Unforgettable and The heritage of ancestors, closing in a few hours.

Brotherhood-wide

• The Paladin Massacre, a special fiction come from the Headmaster that is only open to those rank JM4 and below. July 15-29.
• Imagine Me And You, the current INQ comp, awards up to 4 bonus CIs through July 31.
• July Gorefest, July 15-17
• Monthly gaming for both Overwatch and Jedi Academy through July 31.
• Iconic Character Sheets - Emperor Palpatine through July 31.

Arch’s Special Corner/Conclusion

I'll spare you guys the long spiel this month and simply direct you to the volunteer form. There's a ton of work to be done fleshing out the Kiast system, both in terms of content generation and wikification.
