Tyranus Quaestor Report 5: The Hat Comes In From The Cold

Sorry for the late report but real life reared its head and got in the way!
I hope everyone has been staying warm and having fun this February/March. This past month has been a short yet busy one for House Tyranus with the conclusion of our first event of the year, Ascending Confederacy, but we will dig into that momentarily.

House Tyranus News
Last month we had our first clan event of the year, Ascending Confederacy, a two week event that put house against house in a fight for glory. I am super proud of each and every member of Tyranus, and while we didn’t bring home the win, we certainly brought our A game.
Slags already made a full post about the event with a breakdown of the numbers and far fancier graphics than I could ever produce, which you should totally should check out if you haven’t already. The long and short of it is that we lost to House Ventress…
But in all seriousness, it was a valiant effort! A quick summary:
- Tyranus ended the event with a whopping 539 points, a mere 68 points behind Ventress.
- Out of 13 members, 9 participated in the event with at least one entry. That’s 69% participation from Tyranus
- The members of Tyranus combined for a total of 73 entries.
- 4 of the top 10 placements were from House Tyranus.
- We saw 5 members participate in the event long ACC competition, which as a big fan of the ACC was amazing to see!
All in all we really gave it our all and victory came right down to the wire. I was thoroughly impressed with the effort that everyone put in and hope you are all as proud of yourselves as I am of you. There was a fun variety of competitions and it was nice to see members getting out of their comfort zone and trying new things.
I also want to give a quick shout out to Khryso, Alaris and Tahiri for making the overall top 10 for the event!
Going forward I want to hear from you, the members of House Tyranus about what you want to see more of. I want to know what events you want to participate in. Do you want more graphic competitions? Looking for some more puzzles to obsess over? What about trying your hand at roleplaying? My plan is to run more frequent competitions and get Tyranus participating more, earning more shinnies, getting them credits and building up your XP for your next promo. So, if you have ideas on what you want to see for competitions, or even better, competitions you want to run, let me know! I am here to help and want you to have a fun time here in our corner of the clan.
My plan is to reach out to you individually over the next little while and chat about this a bit more.

Final Thoughts
Spring is right around the corner and plans all across the DB are starting to take shape, this is already turning into an exciting year and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
