Hello my sweet Sadowans, I hope that you all enjoyed the summer. The temperatures are starting to drop, fall is coming into full effect and the Kel Rasha elections are approaching a close. Looking back, it appears that is has been a while since our last (activity update) so you will have to forgive the length in part. Still, there are lots of things going on fictionally as our members are dealing with the results of the latest attacks from the Grand Master's loyal numbered. I figured I would try rolling with a different header this month, but as we have a good bit to cover, let us head right into the report proper.

Lots has happened over the last month, my fine folks. In the Brotherhood at large, [Evant has taken up the new office over Possessions and the position for Voice is open, the Dark Council is seeking a new FIST, the latest "Build-a-NPC" competition has come to a close, the Herald has released an update, and our lovely Senschal has given us a new toy- which I am sure a number of people used to create a theoretical Grand Master for poodoo and giggles as I did. Even so, the tool is very useful to help craft an idea for a new character sheet or an NPC outside of your Path, Order or Discipline so be sure to give James a thanks if you haven't taken a moment to already! Our Headmaster has also released a report talking about the oh-so-beloved Project Happy Fun Time and changes to Shadow Academy. If you haven't already, give it a read.

Not to say that we haven't been busy ourselves. In Naga Sadow Muz has released the first report of his new position, our Rollmaster has released a new report on our wonderful Journeyman and our own Aul has released his third report as the Battle Team Leader of Devil's Shroud. I am sure you have all been busy as your summers have come to an end, trying to squeeze out every moment you can with the fading warm temperatures.

There are lots of opportunities to all our hungry Dakhani who want to get involved in things of course. Being staff, I suppose I am morally obligated to plug the The Undertaking: A DJB Wiki Competition for starters. I know that some are not so terribly experienced or care to involve themselves, but I would invite anybody to at least take a look at the event. I have said it once I will say it again, I would pit my House against any unit in the Brotherhood! But enough rambling on about that bit, the Headmaster is also running yet another Novitiate/Journeyman-exclusive competition. There is also one of two Destiny comps (one a series of comps), a couple of competitions run by Aul for Battleteam Devil's Shroud where you can help craft the lore of the Battleteam, and there is an Inquisitorius comp being run by Atra. Oh and I almost forgot that our Herald is running a new installation in the Herald's Weekly Challenge series! So if you are artistically gifted then check it out. If not check it out anyway because surely you can come up with something better than your Aedile. Now we arrive at the section that I am sure you all come to my reports to see- the place where all hope to see their name plastered up in flashing neon lights. Or something like that. Well, this is sometimes my favorite area because it gives me an opportunity to show what sort of things my lads and lasses have been up to over the last month. Almost everybody above has participated in some level of Telegram activity, thus its exclusion from this list. There are a lot of things looming on the horizon for both Shar Dakhan (hint hint) even as the end of the Kel Rasha Elections finish and as Possessions draws closer we seem to be getting more and more cool things.

Now, with that in mind I don't want for you all to lose sight of the fun that can be had within our House and Clan Dakhani. Both House and Clan Summits are working to craft fun experiences for you all, so I hope you will take advantage and get involved in some of the events smaller than those of Feuds, Clan events and presumeably an eventual Great Jedi War.

I want to issue this challenge to you all while you wait for the end of the the Election event and events to come. I want you all to try to push over October to see just how much noise you can make. That is, I want to see if you all can't fill up my email inbox with messages about activities and awards. Try to push hard for October. I would love to see at least 10 events from each and every member of House Shar Dakhan. As I had said, I would put you all against any unit in the Brotherhood. Believe in yourselves as your Aedile believes in you.

Both Darkblade and I look forward to what you bring to the table, Dakhani. I am sure you all will surprise us thoroughly! A cold wind may blow through, but I have a feeling that House Shar Dakhan is just heating up.
