Hey howdy folks! Gonna be pretty light on the Consul chat this month, as I honestly don’t have a lot to talk about that isn’t covered in the news and events sections.
Hope everybody’s doing alright, and that folks are having fun with the DIA February Contracts and the final Cycle of Season 1. Once the Season wraps, we’ve got a War brewing coming up pretty soon that I hope everyone is hyped for!

Greetings friends!
I feel like I wrote my Jan blurb yesterday… Yet here we are in the middle of February? Like what?? How? Another sentence I say every time: time really does fly by fast. Let's just jump right into it though. For those who celebrate, did you have a good Valentine's Day? Mine was absolutely perfect. I got to have a lovely dinner at the Keg Steakhouse with my fiance. We had an amazing time, and the food was delicious. I hope your V-DAY was equally if not more perfect than mine.
In regards to DJB… lots of exciting things to talk about. We’ll start off with our DIA Contract January edition. Thank you to everyone who participated! A big shout out to Ghost Luka Zarkot on coming in first place! There is still LOTS of time to participate in the DIA Contract February edition. Be sure to get your submissions in. This is your chance to get Crescents, XP and Credits. Who doesn’t love rewards? Especially rewards only OUR Clan can receive.
Speaking of competitions… Parabellum: Chapter 4 is out. You have until February 28th to get those entries in! Do all the things!

Events and Competitions
Just one week left on the DIA Contracts for February, and Cycle 4 of Parabellum! If you’ve been procrastinating…well, now’s the time to get on it!
Fiction
- A few different fiction opportunities from Parabellum Cycle 4, including a small team RP
- COU Does Valentine’s Day also has a couple fiction prompts available!
Puzzle
- COU Does Valentine’s Day also has a puzzle running which caused our illustrious HQD QUA Wally to declare “screw that!” so see if you’ve got more patience for it than he does.
Gaming
- Two Cluster races and a Rivals Final Hit competition are running in Cycle 4
- COU Does VD has a little Flash game challenge as well
Graphics
- Cycle 4 offers some graphics comps, including a map making one as well as a logo design competition
- COU Does VD wants you to make some Valentine’s cards, a rom-com comic, and a secret meet-up
Arcona Only
- DIA Contracts for February are still live, with opportunities for a light old-school gaming challenge, a fiction competition, a Cluster race, and a puzzle to be done! Still plenty of time this week to get some entries in!
In other News
Brotherhood-wide:
- The Voice Staff has been updated, with a new P:Voice and M:Voice!
- The CoJ likewise has a new staff, with a new RH, LH, and Appeals Panel.
- The Headmaster announced new staff - a new P:HM and T:Wiki - as well as a new Git course by our very own Orv!
- The Covenant has been amended, sunsetting the Letter of Reprimand in favor of a more private Formal Warning system.
Clan and House News
- Things are happening over in HQD so check that out!
And that’s all we’ve got for this month! It feels simultaneously like a lot’s going on but also a little light. Maybe because it’s such a short month? Who knows?
