Brotherhood News

We’ve got a bunch of reports for you to check out, so take a moment to look them over when you’ve got the time.

Wally has a new fiction update for the club, which you should check out before the Rite of Supremacy starts on Oct. 13th to get a good idea of what we might be up against. [The Collective] Chapter 1: Counterpoints

And another update just dropped as well. Go check it out in addition to the first one: [The Collective] Chapter 2: Executive Action.

Herald Report #4 - Selika’s latest report announces the addition of CSP’s own Xen’Mordin, former CON, as the newest Magistrate to the Herald’s office. Also of note is the content release for the weapon/robe selectors, featuring items from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which will be getting one final season.

Wiki Tribune Report #5 - Bentre goes into detail about what kinds of things he’ll be looking for when it comes to featured articles on the wiki and touches on a few other matters as well.

Our great panda overlord and master of approvals and remands, Howie, has put out a news post regarding the upcoming Rite of Supremacy and the standard competition and transfer hold that is put in place before club-wide events begin. Give it a look when you have the chance.

Drac has a new Fist Report #23 out which you should look at. Quick notes: GMRG leaderboard changes are put on hold for now, the first season of the Brotherhood Gaming League is put on hold until mid-November so that the RoS can run its course, and a reminder of how to behave while in the DB Gaming Telegram group. Also included is information about some gaming events that will take place during the RoS, such as 2-3 event-long 1v1 brackets, along with various other competitions that allow the usage of our library of supported games. Give it a look.

There is also a new Fist Supplemental #23.1. This explains that in order for Warframe screenshots to count, every member of the group playing must have a registered kill, or else it will be invalidated. There are also links contained in it which are for sign-ups to the bracket events in the RoS: Jedi Academy, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch. Check them out and sign up if you’re interested. Sign-ups must be completed by October 12th. No late sign-ups will be allowed for any bracket event!

Atra has a new Combat Master report in which he goes over changes to some changes being made. Without going too into detail (please read the report so you know what’s going on and the finer points of it), the wording for the Intimidation skill has been updated to more clearly reflect what it’s supposed to do, the Endurance skill has been renamed to Stamina to better relate what it covers, some Feats have also been reworded, and he touches on how NPCs can be used in an ACC match.

Wally also has a new Voice Report #17 for you to read, which goes over the results of the Inquisitorius comps he recently ran, as well as giving some details as to the design of the RoS and what kind of competitions you can expect in it.

So, I just want to take a moment and mention something here, just to be safe. Yes, I’ve given my own brief summaries of what these reports contain, but it is certainly not my intent to imply that you don’t need to read them over yourself. That would be wrong. Please, look at the reports when you have the time, read over the fiction updates when you have the time. The updates are especially important given that they set the stage for the overall fictional story of the entire club, and how things will go during large-scale events, such as the Rite of Supremacy. After all, if you don’t know what’s going on, how can you possibly expect to participate in the events? And aside from that, the people that wrote the reports and updates did so at the expense of their own time, for the betterment of the club. It doesn’t take long, just set aside some time when you can anc check things out. Thanks :)

Clan & House News

Our wonderful Rollmaster Mune has a new report for you to read through for the month of September. It features an excerpt from the fiction submitted by Bale Andros for our recent Words and War event, which has been incorporated into Clan canon, and some art done by Aylin Sajark for Pro Bowl III event from August.

Elincia has a news post out regarding a quick event that Jorm Na’trej and Shadow Nighthunter are running for the entire club as an early Halloween celebration (since the RoS will be running during the actual holiday). Go check out the available competitions and have some fun with it!

Battleteam News

My first order of business is announcing the finalization of the names for our team’s military assets. So, without any further ado, here they are:

Marauder-class Corvette -- Aegis

  • Aegis is defined as: the protection, backing, or support of a particular person or organization. Krennic, and Imperium at large, is tasked with protecting the interests of Scholae Palatinae. Whether that means taking on the enemy at home or seeking them out on their own turf, we will do what we must to ensure Scholae emerges victorious.

TIE/SF Squadron -- Shadow Squadron

  • With their black paint scheme, TIE/SF starfighters are perfectly suited to deliver deadly strikes from the shadows, both in the darkness of space and assaults within the atmosphere of a planet.

VT-49 Decimators -- Banshee Flight (named after these predatory creatures from Umbara)

  • See the resemblance? Banshee VT-49

Gamma-class ATR-6 Assault Transports -- Valkyrie Flight

  • Valkyries choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. That's precisely the power these transports hold when they deliver our troops into battle to vanquish the enemy. The only difference here is that Valhalla does not await our enemies once they fall.

Special Missions Company -- Gundark Company

  • According to the legends tab on the wiki, gundarks are able to fight almost as soon as they left the womb. Fitting for a group of soldiers, right?

Kadrol Hauen

  • 1x Crescent w/ Amethyst Star

Reiden Palpatine Karr

  • 1x Crescent w/ Ruby Star
  • 2x Crescent w/ Amethyst Star
  • 1x Crescent w/ Topaz Star
  • 1x Legion of the Scholar

That’s it for this report, folks. I hope you all get out there and have fun with the Halloween comps and the RoS when it starts. Having fun is always the most important part. If you’ve got any questions, I’ll be happy to answer them as best I can, or otherwise direct you to someone that may know the answer. I might have been here for 10 years now, but I definitely don’t know everything!
