So far, the plan had worked. The Rohlan’s Vision was taking most of the fire, no doubt due to the opposition believing Colonel Cortel to be onboard. It was, in fact, the Hoth JTF’s flagship and it would be an accurate assumption for her to be commanding it. It was that reason that Arcia decided to command the fleet from the Pride instead.

As the two squadrons of X-Wings did their best to protect the carrier, with heavy assistance from the Brah’tok Gunship “Challenger” to handle any flanking starfighters, the Pride did her best to deal as much simulated damage as possible to the Satele Shan JTF’s carrier. If the starfighters had nothing to return to, they would be out of the equation due to the electrical storms that now surrounded the space elevator within the upper atmosphere of Daleem.

“Colonel! Dorsal plating at sixty percent and dropping!” the tactical officer announced as the ship rocked.

She knew the reports were simulated, but she had to react as if they were real. This was the reason the skirmish was happening: to see how the JTFs would hold up in scenarios such as these in case they happened in real world situations. Cortel’s cybernetic eyes adjusted to the shaking and she snapped her gaze towards the Operations officer just as a bright light flashed from it, signifying the simulation of minor overload. The female stationed there cried out in surprise before realizing that she was marked as ‘wounded.’ Arcia threw herself towards the console to take over, shouting out orders as her fingers flew over the surface and sent commands through the rest of the ship.

“Full axis rotation to port. Fire all ventral cannons!”

The corvette lurched as the rotation began, followed soon after by the sounds of turbolasers firing their ion-cannon replacements. The rounds hit their mark as the Satele gunship fell to a violent halt, giving the Pride the opening they needed to strike at the “enemy” carrier.

They’re performing perfectly, Cortel thought to herself, a smile spreading across her lips.

Greetings, House Hoth!

Welcome to another Quaestor report where we will discuss things like the Battle Formations ending statistics, general news of the Brotherhood and more!

So first off, we need to get through…

It’s time for the graphics promised to you yesterday! Below are the statistics detailing the winners of the comps and the participation involved in making this event such a success! Pat yourselves on the back, everyone!

So there you have it! Both Houses did a GREAT job and it came down to the wire. Thank you so much everyone for all your hard work and let’s give a huge congratulations to our top three placers, Korroth, Darro and Corvus!

News:

A lot has happened recently, but probably most important was the proposal of the new Dark Brotherhood Covenant, which can be viewed from the Justicar’s Report. Be sure to take a look at it and offer your feedback. Any and all feedback is due per the guidelines by September 4th. That’s this weekend! If you want your thoughts to be considered for the final draft of his document, be sure to let the Justicar know!

For all you NFUs out there, be sure to check out the Combat Master’s Spotlight on the NFU Discipline: Infiltrator! While you’re at it, check out the Combat Master’s Report as well for all the great information regarding the ACC and character sheets!

Our Fist of the Brotherhood also put out a report going over the various gaming information that all of us gamer nerds love, but possibly the most important, the possible introduction of MOBAs into the DB! The Fist also gave us a Gaming Update detailing a Diablo 3 Update and the new Destiny expansion, Rise of Iron!

Member Highlight

In this month’s member highlight, the House Summit would like to single out a relative new member not only to the Clan, but also to the House. Since joining our family he was promoted to full Jedi Knight and his activity has gone above and beyond any of our expectations by earning himself many Crescents, Clusters and even his first Dark Cross of his career.

This member went 3/9 in the Clan event: Homecoming and also went 6/8 in the Hoth v Shan event, Battle Formations, grabbing a 1st place finish in the Breaking Through flash game, winning by an 801 point margin!

Finally, this member has been nothing more than a fountain of ideas and designs for our new planet and for future comps. He is rapidly becoming an indispensible member of the House and one we are more than willing to nurture so he can reach his full potential. So this month, we are more than proud to honor Lavanth for all of his hard work and dedication to the House!
