The Left Wing of Dread Sends

Hello, House Ajunta Pall! Welcome to the the October edition of the HAP Quaestor Report! It’s been a light month for the House and the Clan, but there is still plenty to talk about. So here we go!

First up, more leadership changes! It is with great pleasure that I welcome Taranae Rhode to the HAP team. Taranae has a wealth of prior experience, having served as Clan Rollmaster and Aedile of House Karness Muur. Taranae is a huge asset to the team, and Kelly and I are stoked to have her working as the Battleteam Leader for the Disciples of Dreypa. I can think of nobody better suited to guide our most excellent journeymen as they work their way toward Knighthood! Congrats, Taranae!

Second, let’s not forget that the house is still running some competitions for you all. I have extended the end date for all current house competitions to the 16th of October (which just happens to be your illustrious Quaestor’s birthday). Links are listed below. Get those submissions in! We have participants from that other house as well as other Clans. Let’s show everyone in the DJB what House Ajunta Pall is all about!

Finally, I hope that everyone is getting excited for the big Plagueis/Tarentum event. Plagueis-Tarentum: Forged Alliances will be a great opportunity for us to not only showcase our individual skills, but also learn how to work with other members of the DJB for the betterment of our club. There are individual events and team events, so there’s something for everyone. Teylas talked about it in his report, so go read up and check it out!

A New Leader of the Disciples

As I mentioned earlier, the Disciples of Dreypa have a brand new Battleteam leader. I’d like to give her the chance to formally introduce herself to the House.

Hi everyone! Some of you may know me, as I know Kelly does, and some of you may not. I've been around Plagueis now since November 2013 and have really enjoyed my time in the club.

After starting out as we all do, a humble Initiate, it took me a mere 3 months to blaze my way up the promotion ladder to Dark Jedi Knight. After that I made Equite 1 (Sith Warrior) in 360 days. It shows that anyone who has the drive, motivation and desire to learn can really go far in the Brotherhood. I served as BTS for Disciples of Dreypa, the first ever BTS for the newly formed Battle Team, before moving on to take the role of Rollmaster for Plagueis 5 months after joining the DJB. I have also served some time as Aedile of Karness Muur, a position that I really enjoyed but had to step down from due to circumstances beyond my control.

And now here I am being offered the chance to help train all you lovely new recruits, and I hope we can get to know each other a little better as we spend time in this wonderful House we call home. It will take me a short while to get all my trackers in order, but I will personally email each and every one of the BT members with details on how they are faring in their climb to DJK, and suggestions for what they can do next to achieve that goal.

For now, though, I would like all the members of the Battle Team to email me with any questions you may have that I may be able to answer. I would also like input from you as to what suits you best here; be it gaming, fiction, or a mix of both. The more I know about what each member likes, the more I can help them rise through the ranks.

I myself love writing. Fiction is my forte and if anyone wishes to discuss writing with me I would be happy to oblige. I game too; mostly pazaak, but I have D3 and SWTOR to play also. Anyone wishing to join me at the pazaak table for games and CF's is most welcome - just shoot me an email and we'll sort something out. Just remember - CFs and CIs count towards some items on your promotheus guidelines and will help you rise in rank. Enter as many competitions as you are able - crescents also count towards your promotions. If you write anything, get someone to proofread it as it will stop you losing points for grammar errors or reality. but above all; COMMUNICATE. This is of utmost importance in this club. Whatever you do, be it big or small in the club, make sure the higher-ups know. Even if you just email me that you have done something, I can share it with Kelly and Dracaryis and we can make sure that any medals or promotions you are in line for are sorted as quickly as possible.

Final Words

It’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan in the best Star Wars club around. Battlefront is about to come out. The Force Awakens is almost here! We’re doing competitions and fun things for everybody! Remember, this club is only as good as its membership. We need you to be active. Not just for numbers and stats, but to keep this group going. Kelly and I are going to keep running interim competitions for all of you so there’s always a HAPpenin’ activity available! Do what you like, like what you do, and keep having fun.
