A Message from the Quaestor

Well that escalated quickly!

Thank you to each and every one of you who contributed to House Qel-Droma’s ridiculously amazing showing in the RoS:Escalation over the past month. I am beyond words at how much ass you kicked! I know life has not been easy,or even moderate, for many of you, but you still managed to find the time and energy to create such amazing submissions and contribute to our shared placement as first among peers. I hope you had as much fun as I did and that the new format of mixing things up a bit between Clans let you find new acquaintances across the grander DJB!

We’ll have a more detailed breakdown of our results in the BTL report to come, but suffice to say, you all did splendidly! As we wind down from the high of a massive event, I hope to bring the focus back to the exploits of our House and Battleteam.

In other news, Lucine Vasano is ending her term as Consul after a bright and illuminant career! We thank you all for your service, Lucine, and are glad to welcome you into the ranks of whichever House you want to return to. With this move, new opportunities will present themselves and indeed Consul applications are open! We highly recommend all Qel-Dromans to try their hand at DJB leadership, whenever an opportunity arises! It's loads of fun, and you get a wholly different experience to the club as a result, not to mention access to The Facility in which The Device is being—I've said too much...

Hello fellow Qel-Dromans!

We did it! The house had an amazing run!

It was so nice to see so many of you did so many bins! In short, you did amazing and I couldn’t be prouder! So many Novae from all of you!

I hope you are well-rested from the RoS and that you’re ready to tackle the challenges that are brewing in the distance.

But, seeing how well you did I’m confident you’ll only grow even more! Keep on being the awesome House I’ve always loved.

House Fiction Update

The past weeks had been, to put it mildly, hectic. The situation on Dandoran had escalated swiftly and threatened to spiral out of control. The deployment had been swift, some might say chaotic, but the after-action reports filing to her desk made for an impressive read.

From what her Aedile had told her, Zuza Lottson had truly went above and beyond in the unlikely battlefield of the Garganta Galleria Casino, while Sulith Beckett had heroically defended civilians and the Voidbreaker’s Captain alike from the crystal abominations unleashed upon them. Edema had successfully executed her mission in defence of the Imperial Depot, while Archian had provided valuable intel of a local Poachers Camp. Out on a similar mission of intelligence gathering, their mercenary contact, Doon Sulvir, had managed to uncover a Sunken Laboratory not far from the depot. Sven Rawioni, bless his paws, had provided dubiously useful, but absolutely endearing intelligence about a feline café located within the Casino. Tali only hoped the pets had managed to evacuate safely...

Shifting over to the second pile, Tali kept reading as even more impressively, Leeadra Halcyon had clearly gotten a hankering to pilot a corvette again as she’d taken part in a supply raid. Also working for the Severians, but on the opposite side of the faction divide, Magik had taken out a high priority target, though the details around it remained as elusive as the man himself.

We had a combined haul of 13 Gold Novae, 5 Silver Novae and 5 Bronze Novae! That’s incredible! Good work Qel-Droma! We are beyond awestruck by your majestic performance!

As for House activity in general, Archian and Edema got tied for 1st place, both with 5 points!

This month still had few competitions to take part in and we were all getting our well-deserved rest. Let’s make next month shine with activity as we’re used to!

Blind Key

This is a peculiar situation. Since both Archian and Edema are tied for first place on the Crescent leaderboard, they both are equally deserving of the Blind Key.

This means that they will have to share. Use it together, schedule days of use for each of you, do it how you see fit. But please do not fight over who gets to infiltrate who because of a key.

    • Tali: “I believe ve can still squeeze a few more in there. They have an amazing ability to fit into tight spaces...”
    • Aru: “The Shistahood can’t stop growing!”

• Zuza wants to kick some ass:

    • Tali: “Break time’s over! Ve shall return to regularly scheduled ass-kickery!”
    • Aru: “Im getting my ass kicked by Erinyes as we speak. Does that count?”

• Kordath is planning a visit on Ol’Val:

  • With Aru sobering up, does Tali get to take a proper vacation? One that doesn't involve monsters?
    • Tali: “I hear Cora might be organizing a SPA vacation, although vith Lucine andt crew attending, I’dt better pack a lightsaber, just in case...”
    • Aru: “It’s always vacation when I’m around, Strong!”
  • Does Aru plan on making a trip to Kiast to hang out with his new senpai?
    • Tali: “A new vhatnow?”
    • Aru: “Of course! I have the lotion, the trunks, the toys. Weesa gonna have lotsa fun!”
  • Any big plans for the HQD budget? Last I checked it was over 3 million, highest I think it's ever been!
    • Tali: “Time to finally realize my dream of the AT-AT racing league!“
    • Aru: “Unfortunately none of that can be used for my debt… I guess I’ll settle for actually buying responsibly for the House.”

In Closing…

That was a wild ride of a Rite, but you all survived with distinction! We could not be prouder of what we accomplished together and as an added bonus, our House coffers are brimming with juicy credits just waiting to be spent! What with the Intergalactic Banking Clan having set interest rates to zero. Wonder if we can fit any AT-ATs inside Ol’val? Or if not inside…
