Members of Clan Vizsla-
Hi all, sorry for the very delayed report. It’s been a wild two months for me. A long work trip right into a move ate up most of June and the first part of July. I’m still living out of a bag in PA, but I have a computer and wifi, and our new bed gets delivered in two days. So not much to complain about.
Some changes in leadership over the past month. Welcome to Raiju as the new Vizsla PCON! Much thanks to Mako for all his hard work holding down the fort and assisting me (read: doing all the work) as I took over from Sarin.
Of note, Val, Zed, and I were able to attend Matt’s funeral at Arlington. It was an extraordinary experience on some very hallowed ground. Matt is buried among heroes, which is where he as a hero himself belongs.
I have his plot location, and am willing to share it with anyone who wishes to make the trip to Arlington to pay their respects.

So with that, welcome to the July Clan Vizsla Report!
A lot of you are getting close to the Clan Title. Here are the 10 members closest to earning it! Thanks to Raiju for making a chart that actually worked.
You can view all current Ad Vizsla Title Holders here.
As a reminder, the only way to get the title is by earning 2 million credits for the clan. There is no vote. It’s not a cool kids’ club (even though having the title is cool). It’s not a popularity contest. Earn credits, earn the title. That’s it. There are plenty of ways to do that, and you can find them here. One thing to remember: If you leave for another clan, your clan credits reset to zero!
If you think it’s too hard or too out of reach, just take a look at Zoron’s numbers…he’s earned the clan title three times over.
Vizsla April Bounty Board is still running! We will run this every month with accessible competitions that anyone can do. If there are other competition types that you want to see, let us know in the comments or in Clan Chat!
RP Story Group: Ongoing Do you want more involvement in clan storylines? Do you want to have fun while helping to drive our narrative? Well look no further! Beginning in May, we will begin running Vizsla Roleplay sessions that have direct impacts on the clan storyline! So dust off those character sheets, go take the Roleplay Shadow Academy Course, and watch for the upcoming supplemental explaining how the whole thing works.
Vizsla Clan Seasons:Delayed Valhavoc has proposed a concept for a Vizsla internal Seasons event. The first iteration of this will begin in August or September.. A future supplemental report will detail this initiative. Really excited about this one!
Operation Firebomb:Next Gorefest The task is simple: 1K gaming clusters in the queue per day for an entire week. Gorefest is the prime time to do this. Gather your buddies and your clanmates and let’s see some big numbers!
Wiki Audit and Projects: We already have a couple volunteers to help audit our wiki. Anyone is welcome to help out. Shoot me or Raiju a DM if you have ideas on how to make the club better.
Fellow Credit Whores
It's good to be back.
It's been a pleasure getting to know the clan again, reconnecting with old friends, and meeting new faces. I'm excited by the conversations we've been having though I still have many of you to speak with 1:1. If you haven't chatted with me yet, please check your DMs/Friend Requests on Discord or feel free to send me a DM/Friend request yourself. I'm trying to avoid flagging the server again as I did before, but that means I've only gotten to know about half of you so far. Over the course of the next month, I plan to speak with everyone so I have a better sense of what interests you about the club and Vizsla so I can work on keeping you entertained, engaged, and earning more credits.
At this time, I'd like to take a quick moment to thank Drac for the opportunity to serve as Proconsul. I appreciate the faith you have in me and I look forward to working with you and the entire summit team. Additionally, thanks to Mako for everything you've done as Proconsul. It's important to note: Mako led the clan through a difficult time. Not only was he a steady hand through this, but he's also been awesome at making sure there's been a smooth transition between Consuls but also now between Proconsuls. Thank you for everything you've done, you're absolutely a pillar of the community and Vizsla is better directly because of you.
A brief introduction of myself for those that don't know, my real name is Brett and originally I joined as Warhunter back in the days of Clan Satal Keto and the early days of Plagueis. My WoW addiction took me away from the club for awhile, however, since rejoining the club in 2007 I've mostly gone by the name Raiju for the past 18 years. I have been a positioned member at several different tiers of this club. I've served units as Battleteam Sergeant (yeah, that used to be a thing) through Consul, been a Shadow Academy Professor, ACCLive Judge (again, used to be a thing), and served two terms as M:FIST for a certain taskmaster. I believe that the clans are an important part of our club offering unique stories and community apart from the overall club experience. I believe folks don't need to have a position or title to still be leaders within their community and I like to empower individuals to do this. I think our leaders have two major responsibilities: 1) To provide entertaining and compelling activities for the membership, and 2) Seeing that the membership is awarded for their efforts in a timely manner as our club competes with so many other options for our attention and presence
For those looking for a more detailed introduction, feel free to read my old intro as Saxon BTL here.
As always, a more complete list of current competitions can be found here. However, today I’d like to highlight several for your consideration:
Kora joined us just a little more than a month ago. Since then, you’ve seen her accolades plastered across the Vizsla chat! See below for details!
We have a lot coming up. Parabellum is ongoing. I’m concerned with the low participation numbers I’m seeing, but the summit will continue to provide you with things to do. Please respond to Raiju’s survey in War Chat, and let us know either in chat or in the comments below what you’d like to see us run. I have aspirations of running a joint event with a clan at some point in the future, but will need to see some more participation across the board before I sign us up for something like that.
The summit’s job is to provide you with content, reward effort, and promote those who have earned it. We like doing all of those things!
This is the Way.
-Dracpool, out.
