Brotherhood News

As you may have noticed, we now have Paths and the old Olders have been stripped away. The latest Fiction Update entitled Undesirables details how the Krath and the Obelisk are destroyed within the Brotherhood. You should really check it out to see how Sarin retconned them as we move towards the future.

Clan News
Awakenings has ended and Team Marcus won. Well done guys! You new-bloods showed off and now have made Marcus an insufferable boaster. It is quite annoying, but I’ll forgive him because I owe him one.
We had a lot of people who signed up and didn’t participate, which kind of sucks. But hey, sometimes problems crop up. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in a CNS Run On and was pleasantly surprised to win it. Super awesome fun times!!!!
Bit of a teaser, Atra and I have been working on the Clan Event in October, which we’ve decided to call “Ashes Fall”. It will run from the 9th October to the 30th October and will consist of three weeks of events. Look out for teaser fiction closer to the date when we advertise it. The teaser looks fantastic and I hope you guys enjoy it.
Cethgus has offered to train people in JA and has plans to set up a CNS TOR Raid Group. If you’re interested, hit him up.
Armad has been tearing things up and representing Marka Ragnos in the ACC event Rivalries, I seem to see a new battle created everyday for him. Well done, Armad, keep on kicking arse!

Preferably dinner and a good night’s sleep. Of course, Maelous will probably mess that up somehow like the horrible Aedile that he is.
Marcus asks “Why didn’t you join the winning side in Awakenings, Sang? :P”
Now listen here you little shi....I mean, congratulations on winning. I hope you enjoy it old man. :P
Marcus asks “Why does Scarlet always yell my name?”
Because she’s overexcited to see her favourite Dutchman? I dunno, what am I? A therapist?
Xia asks “Did you enjoy the story? What would you have changed?"_
I enjoyed the story, but felt there was a distinct lack of Sang in it. Therefore, I would have put more Sang in it to show off how awesome the Light Side is.
Xia asks “Was there anything too confusing for you that kept you from joining the Runon?”
Well, now that you mention it...I kept mixing up the Longs. How many of you are there again? All those names and stuff? Really confusing guys!!!!!
Scarlet asks “Is there anything Sang regrets?”
Other than asking you guys for questions? The deaths of those who trusted in him to do his job as Quaestor and protect them. Tasha doesn’t count, she was an evil traitor.
Xia asks “What is Sang’s shoe size?”
Well, I’m size 13, Sang will probably be similar due to his height. And of course, that old adage about large feet isn’t true. Sadly.
Scarlet asks “What shampoo do you use?”
Head & Shoulders, just like those cool dudes in Evolution.
Marcus asks “Sang went all darkity-dark. Is he finally coming to his senses?”
Question denied on the grounds that Sang is a Jedi, a lovely, lovely Jedi. La la la la, I can’t hear you.
Xia asks “How does Sang-Love feel?”
Lonely.
Scarlet asks “What was your biggest challenge?”
Persuading Cethgus not to blow up another ship.
Scarlet asks “Chocolate or vanilla or you like the twist?”
Uhh, never been asked that question before. Must be an American thing. I like chocolate to eat? Vanilla is good too? How about caramel? Strawberry? Banana? The choices are immense, woman, immense!!!!
Scarlet asks “Will Sang ever fully cross to the Dark Side?”
Some people seem to think he will. Maelous and Cethgus are determined to make it happen. I’m not feeling it right now, so will probably stay light for a while.
Tasha asks “Where does Marka Ragnos go from Awakenings?”
Well, that’s an interesting question. Maelous and I had a plan to develop a new foe for Marka Ragnos within the Orian System that are quite interesting and based on the Mithraic Religion of the Ancient World. The members will also be invited to get involved in writing canon development fiction as we progress, so that they have ownership and decide the future of Marka Ragnos. The main thing to remember that we hope to tie in with Shar Dakhan in the same way the Marvel movies do.
Tasha asks “Do we have a plan of action for the upcoming vendetta?”
Yes, win it.
Tasha asks “Will Sang be able to save Tasha from her darkness and bring her to the light?”
I believe that’s up to you, not me.
Scarlet asks “Why do you want to be on the Light Path?”
Because it annoys Cethgus.
Scarlet asks “Just why, Sang?”
Huh? I didn’t do nothing! Stop accusing me of stuff.
Scarlet asks “Who’s your favourite student?”
Trying to get me into trouble I see. I love both Inarya and Kalon equally.
Malik asks “Is Goat your father since you’re trying to turn him to the Light?”
That’s a terrifying thought. No, he’s not my fath... Actually, with Atra’s jokes about Daddy being home and him being married to Goat, it’s obvious that Goat is actually my mother. Which makes those Sang’s mum jokes rather more worrying. For Goat....
Scarlet asks “Tea or coffee?”
Really? I ask for questions and you give me this one? I’m English. Obviously it’s tea.
Malik asks “So you’re English right? How awful are your teeth?”
So you’re Danish right? How awful is yo...You know, I can’t think of anything bad about the Danes. Apart from your football team. Zing!
Scarlet asks “Who’s the most annoying to you?”
I would have to go with Atra. He’s like the better version of me in every way. Damn him and his luscious beard.
Scarlet asks “When do you get up in the morning?”
At 6am. Everyday. I hate my life.
Malik asks “What did Tasha start?”
She started those interviews, this horde of questions and she also started complaining about leaving her to Darkblade. She had it coming!
Scarlet asks “What Malik said.”

Xanos asks “Is the discussion in DB chat Trev’s fault?”
Yes, of course. Everything is Trev’s fault.
Tasha asks “Does Goat have a bedtime?”
Uhhh, he’s a grown up. He can go to bed whenever he likes.
Scarlet asks “Do you like your position in the DB?”
I’m not fussed. I’ve served in a few positions now. It’s alright, I guess? :P

Lexic asks “Following your great success in the Clan Runon, can we expect to see feedback from yourself to other participating members in an attempt to improve their future stories and create a community of fictional discussion with trial and error?”
That’s a great question. I’m always happy to help others with their writing. As you all know, I’m available to proof posts and fictions. I would suggest one way to improve your posts. Make sure you include others in your posts and give them plenty of opportunities to get involved as people often struggle to write themselves into Run Ons.

Wow, that’s a lot of questions. I kind of regret asking for them now. Awakenings has been a blast. Plain and simple. September will be a cooldown month before we go into Ashes Fall in October. As such, expect House and Clan comps.
Not much to say in here for me, as I’ve said it elsewhere. Just keep up the good work, Marka Ragnos and look forward to the future!

I’m sorry I was away on vacation for awhile. Had a nice road trip but I kept up with what was happening. I am very glad to see so much participation during Awakening! So many shiny things. Of course Ashia got a Sapphire Blade! I am glad to see it awarded to someone such as you. Good work and well deserved!
I need to find something specific to talk about in my little corner. I need to break out and venture forth. It’s not right that Sang but me here anyway. SO if you have ideas send them my way.
