Hello Taldryan, and welcome to my annual pre-vacation report. There will be some infos on Clan related topics as well as some spoilers on upcoming things from within and outside the Clan.

News

  • Diving head first into it, Justinios and Mark are currently working on the next SRI-Project for Ektrosis and from what I have been able to see from it it will really be a heavy hitter story wise so stay tuned on updates from them.

  • Next I would like to talk about the Gatekeeper and Lorekeeper of the Clan. While only unofficial positions within the Clan, becoming one or the other leaves you at a crucial fictional position for more informations on them you can hit up their respective wikipedia articles: Gatekeeper of Taldryan and Lorekeeper of Taldryan

  • After a month long break for the CSP/PLA/TAL Probowl you will also see another chapter of the Caelus Chronicles. This time it will be different than the other chapters before as it will serve as a filler before another big event that will come for us soon.   • Talking about the CSP/PLA/TAL Probowl, three weeks of shared sweat, blood and fun is over and the events have been graded, with our very own Andrelious placing 3 rd in the overall placements. For all results check the newspost here: Probowl Results

The Moon that never sleeps (Bonus Chapter)

Once an Imperial moon, the Caelus System became an independent system shortly after the Great Concordance. A young Astor Ky'Lian took over the control of the system after a military revolt saving its citizens from other former Imperial groups that would have eventually joined the First Order. Populated with Imperial installations, training grounds, and military bases, Chyron is also home to thousands of loyal citizens. The murky green swamps that make up most of the moon’s surface can be seen from space, as can its artificial seas that are used to power the moon. However the moon's jewel is the Imperial Sector, its capital hub,also known as the location of Caelus Security’s headquarters.

Your task in this Bonus Chapter is to bring life to Chyron by designing some of the locations on the Moon based on the Sector it is located on.

Officially known as "Sector 001", the Imperial Sector was the primary focus during the formative years of the Imperial occupation. One of the few complete sectors on the moon, the Imperial Sector is comprised of sleek buildings while being the undisputed hub on Chyron as it likewise is the largest and most populated sector of the habitated areas of the citymoon.

It is also the only sector to hold direct access to the moons immense Power Generators located beneath the moon’s surface. The so-called works are a highly sensitive area of the moon and thus are heavily guarded by the Sector authorities with not even members of Taldryan are allowed to enter without proper summons from the local government.

"Sector 003" or the Confortium of free Merchants Sector is located southern and slightly to the west of the Imperial Sector. Divided into several levels it is probably the most busiest part of Chyron at all times, being home to various commercial plazas making it comparable to the Great Galactic Market on Coruscant. Likewise the sector holds restaurants, casinos, night clubs and tapcafes as well as storehouses, factories and other locations one would likely expect in seedy areas where a large variety of goods can be found, some more common - and legal - than others. Located at the south-eastern end of the Sector, lies the Surkal Spaceport, which is the largest spaceport on the moon but compared to the two other official spaceports it lacks any docking areas for capital ships.

Though being a former part of the Imperial Sector, the sector now under control of Taldryan is the least populated area of ecumenopolis, granting the Clan control over a sector with only little infrastructure except for a capital ship grade spaceport on its northern borders and some military facilities other than the buildings still under construction. However this too leaves the Clan now under control of the sector with most freedom as to how it will shape the sector in the future.
