Taldryan Aedile Report(#25): Holy Crap, I've been Aedile for almost half a year?

Greetings Folks,

It's Wednesday, and what are we going to do Wednesday night? The same thing we do every Wednesday Night Pinky… Write the Aedile Report! This one is jam packed with happy goodies and so much uberness, that it's hard to explain. So I'll just write it.

SWTOR Galactic Starfighter, and Your Aedile

Galactic Starfighter is now out, and available for those who are subscribed to SWTOR. I know the game had been waning in popularity, but I am a complete sucker for Star Wars Flight Sims, and I resubbed just for this content. I'm happy that I did. As you can imagine, it's not every day that the DB gets a new Star Wars focused game, and there has been a veritable explosion of news posts from the Fist and his staff about this. This stuff is important, so I'm just going to link it all here:

Now, I know it's only been out since Tuesday, but I've been playing it every night. If you want to jump into the game any time between 8-12pm EST, I'm probably playing, or at least around on IRC if you want to jump in to play a few games. I'm always down for it, because I'm having a blast. Rian also has said in his report that he's looking to get into it, so make sure you look him up on IRC as well.

The Antei Combat Centre is an Open Beta

If you're familiar with the gaming world, the idea of an open beta is not new to you. Well, the ACC will be having one soon. Our lost son Telaris Cantor has been overseeing the transformation of the old, broken ass ACC into something that is hopefully awesome as all hell, so check that out if you're interested in it. You should probably check it out if you're not as well. You can read Mav's news post here

There's also a competition going on to write the locations that will be available for hosting your duels, and you can read the Voice's news post regarding that competition here

Speaking of Competitions...

There's a crapload of them going on right now. Without the Crusades to dominate everyone's mind hole, apparently the DC got lonely and bored, and decided to just purge their creative juices all over everyone in the DB (you're welcome for that visual). Anyways, a lot of these comps look really fun, and you should check them out. I'm just going to list them off here with a category, and I suggest everyone take the time to familiarize themselves with the competition centre on the website, so they can find all these activities.

Yea, so we didn't have one of these in November, and I'm sorry for that. Much of our focus was on finishing off the Crusades. But now that's done, it's time to get back to business… and for that, we need to vote on who our next victim/target/punching bag/subject will be. It's Baaaaack! RTFR2.0: Episode 7, Beware the Power of Darth Duckface

So yea, I'm not sure if you saw the news floating around on the interwebs lately, but apparently Star Wars has an Instagram account now. I expect it won't be too long before Luke's uploading pictures of braised bruallki with spiced ribenes and blue milk, but some of us can hope for mercy. In the meantime, the first image ever uploaded to that godforsaken hipster mecca, was a Darth Vader Selfie.

Your mission, is to create the best caption you can for this photo, and submit it to the competition which can be found here. Best entry wins. Have a blast with this one folks, nobody knows what sorta humour I'll find funny when it comes to judging this one in a week's time, especially me.
