The ACC Is Dominating Your Destiny
Well, as everyone must have noticed by now.. the second round of Fading Light has begun in the form of an ACC Tournament. In the initial showing, Taldryan put forth a fantastic amount of signups. Every single one of you folks who is qualified for the ACC Signed up for the tournament. We've seen some great posts from our members thus far, and I'm looking forward to an even greater number in the next round. Thanks to strong participation in the ACC Beta Tournament, and being just plain lucky, we had a total of 9 members who recieved a free pass into the second round.
That left 8 members who were participating in the initial round. Unfortunately, some technical issues meant Aeson wasn't able to meet his first deadline, but all the other matches are currently ongoing (except mine, which is finished). Go check out the battles here, and cheer on your Clanmates as we vie to continue our planetary winning streak that started in July of last year on Ashas Ree!
Taldryan Battles
- GRD Kooks vs. Nadrin Erinos
- DJK Decimo Inferni vs. Rhiann Baenre
- DJK Aiden Dru vs. Lexiconus
- OE Rian Aslar vs. Selika Roh
- DJM Howlader Taldrya vs. Zednich Wolfram
- GM Jac Cotelin vs. Taranae Rhode
- DJM Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor vs. Seridan Behevik
Additionally, gor all of our competitors, be advised that the Voice has set guidelines out so that nobody is confused as to what practices are, and aren't acceptable during editing.

Aidan Kincaid: ACC Beta Champion!
Continuing the theme of talking about the ACC, the Combat Master recently released the results of the ACC Beta Tournament. I am extremely happy to announce (again) that our very own Aidan Kincaid (aka Shad) bested his opponent in a great match to be annointed the ACC Beta Tournament Champion. Very well done Shad!
Congrats are also due to Halcyon for placing a joint third in the competition. Well done to you two, and all the other competitors!

Battleteam Leader Positions Open for Application
Just a reminder that the applications for BTL are still open for both the Harbingers and Wardens. There are very, very few people who have ever risen to prominence within the Dark Brotherhood who have not started at Battleteam Leader. If you have any ambition toward further responsibility within the DB, this is where you start.
If you're interested, get in touch with your House leaders and ask about applying. Application period closes on May 27th.

Gathering Darkness Update
A bit more progress has been made on Gathering Darkness in the recent days, with Rian hammering out some basic framework for a few subcompetitions we're looking at doing. I still have no exact timeline for this, but we're hoping to be able to get something out relatively soon.
I apologize for not having any more concrete dates for everyone, but obviously the summit is a lil busy right now trying to help everyone out with the ACC Tournament, and in my case: apartment hunting. Boo. Anyways, we're working on it, and we're hoping this event is one that really excites everyone.

Appeals Panel Positions Open
The Chamber of Justice is seeking a few brave men and women to sit as our next Appeals Panel. The Appeals Panel is one of the most unsung, but vitally important jobs within the Chamber. It's also a great stepping stone to more work within the CoJ... and will fill the requirement if you fancy getting yourself a shiny Dark Sage: Law, like your Proconsul has.
If you're interested in serving the Brotherhood and the CoJ, submit your applications to Justicar Taigikori at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

The Wide World of Star Wars
The website has been awash with Star Wars news since last week, both from the Recruitment Team and other sources. These articles are great little bits that help remind us about why we're pretending to be super powerful space wizards online in the first place.. just how much we love Star Wars.
Some of these are from the site... and I threw in a couple extras just for fun.
- Star Wars Episode VII has begun filming!
- Support a Great Cause, and Earn a Chance to be in Episode VII
- 58 Facts You Probably didn't know about Star Wars
- Anyone feel like racing through the Forests of Endor?
- Disney is doing a Phineas and Ferb Star Wars Crossover Special

Rollmaster's Corner
Hello all, right now the DB is knee deep inside of an ACC tournament. Banff was pretty. That is all. You all should continue to participate in the ACC!
Journeymen progress
Here are some notable accomplishments of our clan's journeymen (and woman!) in the past week:
- Guardian Kooks: Kooks earned 40 Clusters of Fire and a Crescent with Sapphire Star!
- Jedi Hunter Catmatui: Earned 6 Clusters of Fire!
- Jedi Hunter Ondur Lkaetur: Ondur earned 8 Clusters of Fire and a Crescent with Amethyst Star

I'd also like to take a moment to recognize one of the DB's finer members, who recently had to step down from his position as Consul in Plagueis. Obviously I'm talking about Monty, who's been a kickass member since he joined the DB. We're all much reduced without you around Monty. Hopefully you'll be back in full gear soon!
That's it for this week folks.
