Money makes the world go ‘round, and the old adage holds true even in a galaxy far, far away. The Last Jedi had a whole sidestory arc on its own planet to demonstrate that. But Scholae Palatinae left its money sources back in Cocytus, which wasn’t beneficial to them.

Hence, we need to look at the assets we have brought with us, and how to make money on them without selling them off piecemeal.

Scholae’s Fleet is at the moment one of the top three fighting navies in the Caperion system and surrounding space, with future upgrades only able to excel ultimately. The fleet like is also allied with one of the other big fleets against the third, with no pressure to go into an all-out shooting war anytime soon.

This frees up some vessels to serve as scouts or escorts in and out of the system to allow trade to happen in relative safety, and there is no reason to not take a cut of the profits. Excidium with its independent flotilla can start up a believable piracy menace to motivate potential customers, snatching up some goods along the way.

Related to that, Scholae has a better working knowledge of the galaxy outside Caperion, and can serve as factor for business negotiations for the native nations, again creating the demand for their escort services.

Tipoca Station is a state-of-the-art hospital in space allowing for up to 80.000 patients to be treated at once. That is more capacity than Scholae Palatinae’s navy crews, ground forces, auxiliaries and Clan members combined could occupy, or not far off.

The surplus capacities could be utilized to handle the patient overflow from other other factions, or straight rented out to Elaya.

Another option would be the refurbishing of one wing or two into upper crust hospitals and spas, siphoning money from the native rich for providing services they could get planetside for a quarter of the price if they were willing to miss out on the prestige of having foreign elite physicians.

Caelestis City and its surroundings are not yet fully mapped, so I will have to present some speculations. The city itself is a demonstration of power and wealth, and supplying it from Seraph in an active war like the present one would not only tie down ships, but risk their destruction every time they make a run. Hence, I have to assume that Caelestis’ sources of foodstuffs and raw materials are on Ragnath, and close by too to protect them. It would be too easy to starve the city out otherwise.

So, we have: -one Meraxian idol city -a food supply to go with it -whatever light industry is necessary to maintain it -considering it’s a propaganda stunt, the means to fabricate and spread Meraxian culture.

Going from this, we could open parts of the city to tourism (including event tourism like three days in a Meraxian dungeon with Scholaean soldiers roleplaying) and/or sell Meraxian foodstuffs and luxury items (consumer electronics, wine etc) to the free nations.

“This is Lieutenant Dravis, Operation Exsanguination is a go. Repeat operation is a go. You are weapons free." The order came across the com-link and the immediate sound of blaster fire followed by screams from those in attendance. The precision of Talon Company was very impressive, but there were some attendees that had managed to survive the initial volley from the soldiers. Talon Company had been given specific orders that they were to fire for thirty seconds then stop to let the Judges and Ragnosian loyalists a chance to prove their loyalty by dispatching any remaining perceived traitors.

The newly christened Judges were slow to react, but jumped into action when the sound of blaster fire stopped. Armad watched as the Judges overcame their initial shock from the announcement, and then leap towards the larger groups of people as they stampede towards the nearest exits. Armad briefly felt a twinge of regret for the massacring of so many citizens, but that was immediately squashed with the delight of the carnage that was taking place around him. For he knew that there needed to be a culling to rid the dissidents from within their ranks and populace. The more he relished in that thought the stronger his connection with the Force became.

With more and more of the Force rushing into him, Armad’s senses became more acute, allowed him to pick out a quartet of individuals that were trying to stealthily make their way to an exit. Armad turned his head to find this group, and saw that they were using the shrubbery to cover their supposed escape, and gave an devilish smirk at the futility of their attempt. Because an attempt at an unseen escape when there were Sith about was impossible.

Calling upon the Force to fuel his body, Armad sprinted off the platform that he had been standing on, and made his way around the long way to end up in the quartet’s path. Their attention was mostly focused on the Judges that they didn’t see his arrival in front of them.

“Well now, what have we here?” Armad queried when they rounded the closest bush. All of them jumped at the sound of his voice, and the three of females shrieked in surprise and huddled together as the male stepped up and put himself between them. Armad smiled internally as he drew his pistol slow enough to give the male a bit of hope as he lunged toward the Umbaran. The male turned as he grabbed the pistol, attempting to wrestle it from the his grasp. Just as the male’s back bumped into his chest, Armad slide his stiletto into the male's’ back, piercing the lungs so he couldn’t scream or cry out in pain. Relishing in the fresh kill, Armad stepped back and yanked the blade out, as the male’s body crumbled to the ground.

Armad flicked the blade at one female, that had managed to snap out of her fear and try to run away, catching her in the back of her right leg. She cried out in surprise and pain as she fell to the ground. Armad pulled out his Electro-whip and flicked it at one of the remaining females still huddled in fear, catching her arm as she instinctively raised it to protect herself. Thumbing it on, he watched as she screamed in pain as the electricity started coursing through her body. Because she was touching the other female, Armad was gifted with watching them both writhe in pain.

Reaching out his hand to pull the stiletto back to his hand, at the same time he released the button pulsing electricity into the two females. The one female started to try and crawl away, so Armad gave her a nod of approval to her fortitude as he raised his blaster and fired a single shot into the back of her head. As he turned back to toward the two remaining females, one of them had managed to find a makeshift weapon that she clumsily swung at him. While it didn’t directly hit him, it did hit his hands enough that he dropped both his blaster and whip. Angered at that and for not sensing it coming, Armad turned fully towards the females, reached across to his left side and in one fluid slashing motion, decapitated both the females as the knelt on the ground.

Picking up his weapons, Armad stashed them in their proper places before exiting the courtyard in search of any more dissidents that might have escaped.

BURNING DEN:

Areticus, Iios, and Lo-Kain laid on the plateau overlooking the enemy camp. Areticus looked over to Iios and said, "Burning Den". Not another word was necessary. Iios began to make his way down from their lookout toward the back of the enemy encampment. Areticus and Lo-Kain made their way down toward the bases front and waited, hidden by a nearby forest's thick vegetation. After a few minutes a small animal that closely resembled a monkey made its way from the enemy camp and sat on the rock in front of Areticus and Lo-Kain. It tapped two times, paused, then tapped twice more. "Twenty-two enemies." Lo-Kain said, "This will be a worthy fight". Lo-Kain and Areticus made their way into the open and stood there for several moments, seemingly unnoticed by the mercenaries in the camp. Lo-Kain willed a nearby boulder into the air and flung it at a nearby turret, crippling it, and the person manning it. That got their attention. The first shots began ringing out and stopped inches away from Areticus, now taking the front of the two-man formation. Within seconds the rest of the camp was on their feet and firing at the two Sith. Areticus held the barrier against the blaster fire and Lo-Kain began moving forward in tandem with Areticus's movement and activated his lightsaber. He began mowing down any mercenary that ventured too close toward their mobile barrier. A massive explosion a few meters from the two stopped the momentum in its tracks. The remaining three turrets that were manned only during times of emergency were aimed right at the Sith and were prepared to fire. A man, the bases commander presumably stepped out from behind one of the bases buildings and yelled, "You are hopelessly outgunned and that barrier will not hold up to our heavy turrets. Surrender!"

Lo-Kain growled and whispered to Areticus, "That weasel must have ran scared instead of doing his job."

Areticus looked up near the commander and saw a shimmer in the air, "I think not."

A lightsaber pierced through the commander's chest and the young Chiss's Force cloak dissipated. "Sorry I'm late, some of their hounds almost caught me before I could finish our present. He held up a detonator in the air and pressed the button before jumping inside the commanders building. The turrets and half of the buildings in the base exploded as Iios's charges went off. The mercenaries began panicking and ran in multiple directions, most of which were picked off by Areticus, now on the offensive, Lo-Kain, and Iios with his blaster sniper rifle.

"A job well done," Areticus said to Lo-Kain and Iios, "but next time, just kill the dogs instead of knocking them out." Areticus looked to Iios knowingly.

Iios chuckled and said, "No promises."

What else can I say? Jar Jar Binks sucked, but the film couldn't be redeemed.

Maximus Alvinius woke up today in Sky Breach base and the morning felt like any other morning. As he went to the bathroom he felt a little heavier than usual. Maybe it was a cold that was coming on that made him feel that way. As he went to the restroom to do his usual morning routine he was surprised to see himself in the mirror.

“What the heck,” Maximus yelled out loud as he stared at the figure of Boba Fett staring back at him.

Immediately he grabbed his head and his body feeling the helmet and melt armor on top of him. Turning around in the mirror he saw the turbo pack on his back as well.

How in the heck could this have happened he thought to himself? Well maybe it is a dream, must be a dream he thought to himself. Best part about dreams is you get to live a little.

“I’ve always wanted to fly. Might as well go check out the planet while this outfit last,” Maximus said out loud as he headed for the door.

Once outside, Maximus tested out the jet pack. Started the jet pack he started to circle out of control towards the sky.

“Woah. Too much power,” He said as he adjusted the speed.

He immediately began to level out and fly with grace over the planet’s surface. This was pretty cool he thought to himself. It is the fastest way to get around, but a Jedi like himself never used this mode of transportation.

“Well off to do some hunting for fun since I haven’t had much time lately,” Maximus yelled as he began to increase the speed doing multiple creative flips through the air.

“Yipppeeeee,” He yelled as he began to have fun flying.

Ah down there. He saw some of the animals in the forest below and decided to try out some target practice and maybe bring back some spoils to feast on later with his House members.

Aiming down at the animals in the forest he fired. Problem was two rockets exited with forceful speed towards the animals below immediately exploding them on impact with nothing left in sight.

“Oops. Wrong weapon system,” He said with a laugh.

He began to fly around to a different area where he say more animals. This time he aimed and utilized the other weapon system. With precision he was able to shoot two immobilizing darts at two animals below instantly dropping them.

“Alright, now time to pick up dinner,” He said with a cheer.

Maximus flew down to the two smaller animals and hooked them to his gear. After finishing hooking those up he flew off to make way back to Sky Breach base to prepare the animals he had just caught.

“Man no one is going to believe this when I get back if this isn’t a dream. Boba Fett. It has always been a dream of mine,” Maximus spoke to himself under his breath.

The new Boba Fett had a successful day on the hunt and finally made his way back to the base to prepare the animals for the feast he would put on that night.

Alara lifted her eyes from the jungle floor to the large, ridged blocks of sandstone that arched over the cave's orifice.

There has to be something important in there . . . Too bad I didn't bring Artemis on this journey, the Quaestor thought to herself. Alara stepped under the archway and flicked the switch on her favored lightsaber to light the path ahead.

The cave was lined with ivy, vines, and alien reptiles of which species she was definitely not familiar with. A three-eyed orange lizard blinked a few times at her before disappearing with camoflauge into the cave wall. The cave ceiling was a lot higher than she anticipated. With a glance upwards, she realized ancient Nayamans, or whoever decided to decorate in here, had shaped stalactites into an odd arrangement of chandeliers. With a twist of her wrist, the half-Sephi called upon the Force and threw fireballs at the torch spots. She clicked her saber off and fastened it to her belt.

The corridor had storage chests on each side of the wall, slightly dug further into the rubble of the main surface. However, it looked as though thieves had already stolen any spoils that were there, and they must have done it quite a long time ago since dust rested on the chests' lids. With a bite of frustration on her lower lip, Alara continued down the main hallway's path, stepping over rocks and skeletons as she went.

Suddenly she realized a giant sculpture stood before her at the far end of the highway. When she looked up as far as she could to see the top, pointed ears barely were noticeable through a warrior's helmet. With a gasp, she ran closer to find out more information.

" . . . Sephi? A Sephi? Could it be?" she spoke to herself aloud. As soon as she lifted her hand towards it and rested her palm on the soldier's massive feet. When she did so, the entire sculpture's armor lit up immediately, throbbing with a firelike pattern. She looked up in shock and recognized the eyes were flashing the same auras. When Alara looked down at her hand that had touched the statue, it began shining with the same effect, and much like a fire catching light, it caught to the rest of her arm and appeared with similar markings all across her body. When she looked to a nearby puddle, she saw it: her eyes, like fire, resounded flickering flames in her eardrums. She touched her newly marked face to feel what possible indent it coudl have made on her skin until the throbbing overtook her body in echoes and took over her heartbeat.

That's when she fell to the ground.
