The Citadel, Estle City
Selen - Dajorra Confederacy Territory
43 ABY
“The upgrades to the SLD-26 Planetary Shield Generator that surrounds Dusk Station are underway, and are expected to conclude next week. An important step to improve security for Selen. Travel in and out of Selen through the Custom’s station is still permitted, with only minor delays.”
“Back to you, Eleuia.”
“Thank you, Balam.”
“This morning, Estle City representative, Akna Citlali, gave an acceptance speech for her selection as the new Speaker of the Freeholders’ Assembly. This historic occasion marks the first indigenous Selenian to hold the position—”
—a short rapping of knuckles on light grey stone interrupted the Selen Broadcast Station, drawing dark brown eyes away from the flickering holo-recording to the breezy archway leading back into the Citadel. Offering a wide smile, Diyrian Grivna strolled across the tile to lean against the balustrade the Human was sitting on, her legs dangling into open air.
“Thought I’d find you out here,” the Kiffar’s relaxed speech slipped out. She had been code-switching with an ‘official’ professional voice, the basics of which had been built while enlisted with the Arconan Starfighter Corps, but greatly adapted over the past year or so of diplomacy within the Brotherhood and the Dajorra Confederacy. Yet, around friends or within the criminal underworld, she eased back to what was comfortable, perhaps to lighten the air around their lives that were seemingly plagued by grim circumstances, or as an escape from the pedantry of politics for herself.
Diy crossed her arms on the railing and looked at Zuza, “So…how’s it goin’, Lottie?”
“Well, the new battery components are nearly installed in the shields, thanks to Tali and Yumni from that uh…Arconan Logistics and Shipping Corporation?” Zuza put on her own smile. Diy knew her well enough to know that the smile was a cover for how tired the woman was, especially after the Serpentine Throne incident. Diyrian’s own light grin wavered as Zuza continued skirting around the question, and her own anxiety around that event surged. “Rebuilding efforts have largely been completed across Ussun. No more ‘Gods’ have risen up to threaten us. How’s Kauit settling?”
“The ol’ bird? Givin’ the researchers a run for their credits with the wordplay, but followin’ the rules we enforced. I think the Fosh’s preenin’ their feathers at being held in an academic position. Everyone seekin’ what they know,” Diy responded after a small sigh, glancing towards what of the Hauscar ring was visible from this section of the Citadel.
An extraction team led by Alex Draconis with the assistance of Aiden Lee Deshra and Luka Zarkot had easily apprehended the final ‘God’ of the ancient Sith. Kauit had agreed to destroying their cryochamber and forfeiting any role of power in favor of academic and research pursuits, and volunteering to share many of the secrets Jax Erinos-Settgre had uncovered from inscriptions located throughout their lair on Aytambawanchac Island. This included the oracle’s encrypted holocron of an artifact, archaic arcane methods and schematics, and even the nearly forgotten ancient Selenian Force practices.
Silence fell between them, filled by the caws of avians drifting between the sea drafts, the din of Estle below, and the reporters’ continued broadcast.
The Clan event is LIVE!!! Veins of Power: Episode I
The CADRES is tasked with establishing first contact with the Bothan Council. Either help ensure the meeting goes smooth or help protect the fleet on its way to the mission! Additionally, the clan is being demanded to either establish a security escort for ships traveling through the Kon D’irin territory in a show of force, or to engage in negotiations with them. All while that is happening in character, we ask for your help and creativity to develop who the CADRES and Dajorran Confederacy officials are, and various other features of the diplomatic agency!
With one of these factions being a homebrew entity we’ll be fleshing out together along with some work Koda and Bril are doing on them in the background, let me share a snippet here about them:
Kon D’irin
In the vacuum left behind by the absence of the Pyke Syndicate and the destruction of the Spice Runners of Kijimi, it took several years for a new group to develop a strong control over the spice trade surrounding the Kessel Run. The Kon D'irin have only recently established a solid hold. They seem to have been taking note of the Arconan emblem around ‘their territory’, as the space is travelled through for any travel outside the Dajorra System. Potentially scene as threats to their operations.
Participation and placement in any of the comps within the container rewards the following points towards the entire Episode’s scoreboard:
Additionally: Competitions in the Episode are divided by competition types, or ‘bins.’ Participating in 1 single competition in all 4 of the bins will award an additional 5 points towards your Episode’s score total. Ties will be broken by the number of competitions entered, then broken further by the number of higher placements.
Before I move on from talking of the event, I’d like to apologize for the delay in the report and fiction coming out. I had overestimated how quickly I would get the resources finished and overshot the planned date. Most unfortunately this meant a stall on your end to do the crossword puzzle, whom I apologize to the couple of folks who encountered that issue. I greatly appreciated your understanding at the time, though I vow we’ll hold off on any comps of the sort in the future if there is a question on whether the resources would be ready in time. That said, crossword is free game now, the resources for it can be found on the wiki, wookieepedia, and the Brotherhood site.
In our last report, Bogart shared a glimpse into our upcoming Fiction mechanics that influences the clan’s diplomatic actions. We’re still putting on the final touches, so its not yet in play but we’re excited to share it with you once it's done.
That said! You have been introduced now to the four fictional factions that will be influenced by it: the Dajorran Confederacy, the Severian Principate, the Bothan Council, and the Kon D’irin Society. Hope these will be intriguing groups to explore. Our home turf, a brotherhood faction, a star wars canon government, and a homebrew of special spice bois to play with.
The first phase of Season Parabellum - Cycle II has ended, the first month of the event is done! Well done to all those who participated and congrats to those who placed! We’ll do a full Seasons recap once this Cycle concludes. In the meantion through the course of June, only the event long comps will be running. Phase II starts in July. Cycle II ends July 27th.
Event Recap: The Tenixir Pirates have given a Coruscant gang, the Quantum Shadows, a bunch of Brotherhood tools and armor. They also received disguises in the guise of significant Brotherhood leaders and were tasked to rob the Bank of Coruscant as such. Turns out this was all orchestrated by the Collective! You can read more of the opening story Here.

If there are any questions, let the Summit know and we'll help.
The Dajorra Asteroid Belt encircles the system, a field of giant floating rocks all stocked up high with minerals and ores prime for ship construction. There’s mining operations out there, mostly legal and under the Zainab Mining Enterprise. And the others? Well, the corporation doesn’t take kindly to those hijacking their resources.
But that’s not why a small crew of individuals is heading into the maze of rock today. No, they’re simply out there to do a maintenance check on the transceivers and crucial surveillance equipment, both security and astrometrics or babysitting the techs doing it…
This sneak peak might sound familiar to some of you. Well, because it is. I originally was going to run this in April, however, it was postponed so we, the summit, could focus on the big ol’ changes we’ve been sharing. While we’re still fine tuning the mechanical Diplomacy system, I feel now is a good time for a small team clan RP.
Now some details on how these are going to work. Each rp will be locked at 4 members max. We’ll be opening it up to newer rpers first(Envoy Ranks 1-5), then Envoy Ranks 6-10, before finally ranks 11 & 12. Folks who have not yet participated in one of these as we go along will be preferred over those who have, and ideally we’ll be able to cycle through and get everyone a fair amount of chances to hop into these.
Being able to post once every 24 hrs is ideal, although I’ll be reasonable if there’s a need for delay. The RP will run for a month.
I’m eager to see how these go and hope you all have fun. Any questions or concerns, hit me up.
