As day broke Mako and Turel stood before the Consul in her office. The Satele Shan members were busy putting the Praxeum back in order before the majority of it’s workers arrived for the day's work.
“The two of you have exposed a critical flaw in our information network and our defenses as a clan. While the council may not agree, I personally appreciate the quick actions you both took. What do you propose we do about this issue with SenNet?”
“SenNet needs to go through an overhaul and a restructuring to ensure this does not happen again,” Turel spoke first.
“House Satele Shan is ready to have a larger role than simply being the defenders of Seher. There are plenty of artifacts on this planet we have yet to discover, as well as in the galaxy at large. Some of these artifacts can be extremely dangerous. In the wrong hands they could bring great devastation and sorrow. I propose that Satele Shan combat this threat on two fronts. We discover and recover these artifacts as our first front. As the second we remove those whom are evil from power through diplomacy and or force. This will help us to preemptively keep the innocent safe. No longer wait until they attack, but actively seek out and eliminate the threat before they strike.”
“And the whole business with Ooroo?”
“That is classified Ma’am.”
“Very well, Turel, you will take a direct role in overseeing SenNet’s transformation and then how its assets are utilized. Mako you and Satele Shan are now a part of SenNet, your house will perform the job you just described. However you will stay in Seher and maintain our presence and protection as Satele Shan has been doing so far.”
“Aye, Ma’am,”
“Mako, I will speak with you soon, Agent,” Turel said with a grin.
“I look forward to it, Director.”

I am your Quaestor Mako Henymory, It was slightly under a month ago now that I took over the position from the capable hands of Turr Darvesh better known as Mar. Since then it has been a whirlwind of activity, as the house woke up from its slumber to prepare for the coming Feud, and because I wouldn’t stop poking you all with a pointed stick. You have heard things such as “get it, GET IT!” and “I NEED FUEL FOR THE FIRE!” from me over this last month. Well if you are wondering about the fuel and the fire, keep reading it will be explained later.
So the Feud, yes it is important, no I don’t have much intelligence on it to pass along to you. When I know something you will know something. We will talk more in detail about this below.
So you may be wondering to yourself, Mako what is this huge discourse post you have linked me to? Well the short answer is that our fictional direction has taken a shift and the house fiction is to set us along that path. If you have not read it yet, go do so. If you have read it, read it again.
So the long version. House Satele Shan is now a part of the Sentinel Network and will be working toward the goal of preemptive protection of Clan Odan-Urr and the innocents. We will hunt down relics and evil individuals and take care of them. At the same time we will be staying in Seher and continuing to protect the city and all the other tasks we performed before.
What this means to you, well we are now all Agents of SenNet. You may choose to utilize this or not, that is your decision. The Battle Teams are still doing what they do best and this change is simply another thing they can draw on and use if they so choose. Shortest answer, this is simply another fictional element that you can incorporate into your character if you so choose.
In the spirit of this change in fictional direction our house motto is changing from “A shining beacon to the lost” to “A light hunting the darkness”.
We are working on filling out the House Satele Shan Wiki page. If you wish to help with that task please send myself an email with the email address you use for your gdrive. What we need are people willing to write sections including the history of the house and people to code them into the Wiki code. These do not have to be the same people.
To keep our Battle Teams from becoming over crowded with inactive members I am instilling an edict. No Battle Team in House Satele Shan shall have more than ten members on their roster at any given time. I’m old school in thinking that a Battle Team is where the most active members of the house congregate to crush our enemies during war and vendetta and rock that activity when in peacetime and not a place where you go to retire and stagnate the unit with inactivity.
Of the 38 members on our house roster currently that gives 20 spots for being in a Battle Team 18 of which are already taken. Both Teams are active and sitting at 9 members each. If we have enough members active and wanting on a Battle Team that are not already on one I am open to the idea of creating a third Battle Team.
The Feud with Plagueis, it is coming, soon. As a house I would love to see everyone participate, do all that the event has to offer. This of course is probably an unrealistic goal. So I will tell you this as I don’t have anything to tell you yet other than it will be similar to a Great Jedi War. If you don’t know what that is, it’s fun and crazy. The biggest part of winning is participating, even in the things that you don’t think you can win. You participate and that gives better metrics for the Clan. Better metrics equals better score overall. Also the more entries we have into each of the event’s competitions the better chance at winning them we have. Flood those event competitions with entries, and the more event competitions you participate in the higher the award I can get you.
So it has been a long and very exciting month to be in Satele. We saw a changing of the guard, and an increase in activity across all ranks. I am very, very proud of each and every one of you. This however is our baseline for activity moving forward, I would love to see more of it each month from now on. This month I am proud, there are things that need improvement, and things we did well. Next month I hope to be proud again but without activity from the House, which includes myself, I can not be proud. #makeMakoProud get it, GET IT!
Usually this section will go from the last report but since I am using this to establish our monthly baseline, this time it will only be since January 1st, 2016. Oh and the stuff listed below is what I mean by FUEL and it is for my merit medal awarding and promotion FIRE. You do the work and you will get the award. If you do not do the work you get nothing, that is how it works and there is no getting around it.
Below you will see that we had several promotions and a few in the Equite ranks. Also we have had many Merit medals from a Grand Cross to Dark Crosses. Those are some nice high level stuff, but each and every visible activity is important, from the clusters to the sacramentals, the SA Courses are important as well. Each of these give me that fuel to get the higher level stuff for you. Each is important to the Clan and House. Each is important to you, as it is a testament of what you have done. So, get it, GET IT!

Well here we are at the end of this report. So what do we do now? Have a seat let us talk on a more personal level. So I know at the beginning of the month I said I would have some new graphics for these reports. Well I put in the request this week so they should be here by the next report. I am sorry I let you down there, that is my fault that I put off putting in the request for to long.
#oneClanOneFamily I mean this, I do not want any fighting or tension between the houses. We are a single family, those in Satele are your brothers and sisters, those in Hoth our close cousins. To keep a competitive edge we do need to maintain a certain level of friendly competition between the two units. But there is no “Best” unit in the Clan, each unit has its own unique personality and fictional direction. No unit is better than another, sure a unit might have a better score in a single event or competition and participation rates are very important. But there is no “Best” unit, because where a unit may have been great at one event there is no guarantee that it will be able to maintain that or be at that level moving forward. If you want to pump up your Battle Team or your House by saying that it is better than another unit in this great Clan then keep that inside of private Battle Team of private House chats. Making statements as such in open Clan communications can cause resentment towards yourself and tension between the units even if that was not your intent. Trust me on this, I have seen it happen and the end result is a place that is not fun to be in. If you see this happen throw up the #oneClanOneFamily hashtag. Remember our units are no better than any other in this Clan. Outside the clan though… ;p
So I have said much in this first report and let me wrap it up by saying this, I know that I must have missed something, I am sorry. Clan Odan-Urr has the potential to become First Clan one day, we just need to do the work to get there. Plagueis has no idea about the pain train of amazing that is about to run those dirty slavers down. #nosurvivors
