Aboard the ISD-II Perdition

The reports had been coming across his datapad for quite a while now. A couple of small teams had been busy, and the data was streaming back to the fleet in irregular spurts. The Consul scratched at a cheek as he perused the feed. The next move had to be well-calculated.

Many of the jumps executed by scouting teams had yielded little in the way of results. The galaxy was a big place, but some systems and solars were of little interest, save for expanding or updating the charts and astrogation data already possessed by the fleet. The work was long, but it kept his mind busy. He could have been spending time doing his own research, but the interests of the Clan were better served than his own pursuits.

The office was quiet. Ashia had left the office a few hours prior. Stretching, Bentre considered the time. His wife was doubtlessly sleeping soundly in their bed in the bowels of the flagship. He considered turning in for the night. The Sadowans of Shar Dakhan were seeking out artifacts, the Markosians were playing pirates, and the Clan had avoided any unexpected run-ins with the Collective.

Three beeps brought Stahoes’ attention back to the datapad. One of the scouting teams had just reported in. A new location had been investigated. Along with the notification of their imminent return, the scouts had included an attachment. Scrolling down the contents of the data packet, he studied the report to make a decision on where the location would next be hosting Clan Naga Sadow. As his eyes searched the report, Bentre slowly smiled.

Hopefully Ashia had not made it to bed just yet. For that matter, he hoped that the Rollmaster had gotten a few hours sleep as he had worked. The scouting report was not something that could just be ignored. It looked like this night could be a long night for the whole of the Summit.

A good evening to all the good guys and gals of Clan Naga Sadow! In this first report of 2019, the Consul will be talking a short bit about the fictional state of the Clan, what we have been up to, and a bit about happenings in the Clan, club and with our wonderful members.

In case you have declined to read the News Aggregator report, Clan Naga Sadow has taken to pirating and finding some neat little shiny pieces to further empower the Clan and to keep us flying. This has taken the form of the most recent House competitions.

As the (very brief) fiction used to open this article was intended to show, we have not been sitting on our hands. There is an event cooking up with Clan Plagueis in the next month, as referenced in Arden’s own report, and this should give everyone a small teaser. I would love to reveal a little more, but we are hard at work in the background trying to get things in line for you all. Over the next few weeks, you will see the Clan catapulted into action. There will be more announced as we approach the proper start of the event, I present this for you all to consider: When the mysteries of the galaxy reveal themselves to the clan, what part will you play?

• Meanwhile, House Marka Ragnos is traveling the Long Road as they engage in a bit of ye old piracy

• Our former Consul, Sang was publically announced as having been awarded a shiny, new Sacramental!

• Muz Ashen Keibatsu was moved from Aedile to the Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos after Kojiro’s decision to step down from the position.

News Across the Club

• Our own Wally has released the 18th Voice Report chatting about projects, the Rite of Supremacy fiction comps, the Brotherhood Story Group and a bit more

• We have received Consul’s reports from Arcona, Taldryan, Plagueis and Odan-Urr

• Dracpool released a Supplmental Report about the bot and more, and his Praetor released a report about the decisions for Magistrates to the FIST and some gaming statistics

• The latest Herald report came complete with new robes and weapons and hints at things like further development of the graphics society. Totally worth a read, and throwing a good work to the new Magistrate and our hard-working folks in the Herald’s office

• Dracpool also made mention of our most recent test for a new potential Supported Platform in no other than: Elder Scrolls Online

Ongoing Competitions of Note

• The Running for a Black Guard post will be opening again. Take part in a farce of a heist to prove that you have the potential that the Summit seeks in new Black Guard!

• The Voice is running a workshop to practice writing dialogue between two characters. I hope that you will take advantage of it to stretch yourselves and to grow your fictional mettle.

• Take the Ten Year Challenge!

• Again, all ye Markosians have the Long Road currently running

• You can take an opportunity to write about a prank pulled by your character for a chance at a Crescent and some Clusters of Ice! (Actually, I will offer up Bentre as a target for a prank if you so care to do so ^^

• Or if that does not strike your fancy, go ahead and infiltrate another Clan

• again, do not forget to take part in the ESO Test if you have any interest in adding Elder Scrolls Online to our list of supported gaming platforms

• though for our Dakhani, try to make sure you still take part in the first part of Three Shades of Black

• For those interested in keeping in the running for the GMRG Leaderboard, do not forget the current slew of GMRG Q1 Competitions that are running

Parting Words

The House events offer fun times for our members, and we will quickly be kicking into the inter-Clan event in February. We will be releasing further teasers and fictions leading up to the start of the event. For now, I will be watching the awesomeness that is Clan Naga Sadow.
