The Brotherhood is an organization rooted in the Unknown Regions in the secluded Arx System. Their base of operations is the Dark Ascent on planet Arx. Their combined military might is called the Iron Forces. The navy is referred to as the Iron Navy, and ground forces are referred to as the Iron Legion.

The Council

The ruling body and advisory board that is assembled by the Grand Master to oversee much of the daily management of the Brotherhood to ensure smooth operations. Their efforts allow the Grand Master and Deputy Grand Master to take on more secluded roles in furthering the visions of the Brotherhood. Each Councilor has a domain of power that they oversee.

Sub-factions

The societies that serve as the cornerstones of the Brotherhood's operations. The Inquisitorius are the intelligence, espionage, and assassin branch. The Grand Master's Royal Guard are ceremonial protectors of the Council. The Aurora Collegium of Sciences trains and employs top scientists. Arx Capital Exchange handles trade and commerce. The Shroud Syndicate serves as underworld contracts and black market dealings.

The Clans

The seven Clans of the Brotherhood all hold different motivations and personalities. A member of each respective unit is referred to in the following manner:
