D&D Construction Yards

Located to the northwest of the Pinnacle on Aliso, the Duracrete & Durasteel Construction and Infrastructure, Refinement and Assembly Yards, better known simply as the D&D Construction Yards, serve as the industrial backbone of Aliso City and Clan Plagueis. Originally established by Separatist forces for heavy processing, the facility has since been expanded, upgraded, and retrofitted. Under the steady oversight of labor droids and Clan-subordinate supervisors, the facility operates around the clock to refine, shape, and ship the building materials necessary to expand the Clan’s domain.

The yards are broken into distinct, constantly shifting operational sectors dominated by towering piles of raw earthwork materials. Sprawling mounds of crushed stone, coarse sand, Zersium ore, and raw duracrete aggregates await processing, funneled into the various refinement rigs by giant trenching machines equipped with massive, revolving excavator chains. Overhead and along the floor, an intricate network of continuous conveyor belts crisscrosses the facility to feed active sorting hoppers, while automated droids and heavy loaders maneuver among the tracks. Liquid composite is channeled into expansive curing bays or pumped into storage silos, while adjacent open-air assembly zones house stacks of newly forged, structural durasteel beams awaiting transport.

This relentless, kinetic machinery creates an environment that never settles into quiet. The facility remains in perpetual motion. Massive excavator chains spin through loose aggregate, overhead gantry cranes sweep multi-ton payloads across the skyline, and open durasteel purification furnaces radiate oppressive, suffocating heat into the air. Between shifting slopes of raw gravel, narrow steel catwalks suspended over curing pits, flashing hazard lights, deafening alarm klaxons, and the rhythmic roar of heavy industrial equipment, the yards form a treacherous landscape where footwork is uncertain and sightlines are broken at every turn.
